Hi, I'm
Anjali! 

A Textile and Multidisciplinary Designer based out of India. I graduated from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 2022, with a Bachelor of Design degree in Industrial Arts and Design Practices (with a textile specialisation and a slew of minor courses). Through my period of work at AFEW Rahul Mishra as the sole Textile Designer for 1.5 years after graduating, I was able to showcase my work at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Lakme Fashion Week in India, as well as numerous editorials in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle and more. Currently, I freelance as a Textile and Print Designer for various fashion brands.

Apart from Textiles, I enjoy exploring both 2D, 3D digital and physical forms of illustration in different mediums. I like to add whimsy and playful subversion to everything I make, always attempting to create a story through my projects. I try to incorporate a sustainable approach to things I design and make, with minimal use of ‘new’ material.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring museums, hiking in nature, listening to podcasts, marveling at Drag Queens, sketching or curating a sustainable and fun wardrobe for myself!
