Textile swatches - woven, embellished and hand-made as classroom projects and personal projects. Various concepts are explored through colours, symbolism and materiality. 4 different concepts were worked upon to derive visual and textural inspiration.

Rayon- Silk saree cut-off, quilted with kantha stitches and muslin craps, trimmed with lace​

Swatch 14: Double cloth textile attatched at one side, cotton 2/20s thread with wooden and plastic beads, elastic yarn. Opens to form a 'top' with woven tapes to tie-up; plain weave​
Swatch 15: Double cloth textile attatched at one side, cotton 2/20s thread; Opens to form a 'top' with woven tapes to tie-up. Plain and hand-leno weaves.​
Swatch 16: Double cloth textile attatched at the centre; cotton 2/20s thread, yarn cut-offs, beads; Opens to form a 'vest' with woven tapes to tie-up. Plain and hand-leno weaves.​
