01. PATOLA JACKET
Made out of a client's mother's old viscose-silk saree, this jacket silhouette was inspired by a biker jacket. The pallav, body and borders were used in panels based on their color and density of pattern. The patterns were cut and quilted, a mandarin collar was added, along with a concealed placket. Lining was added by a local tailor.

02. RAZAAI
SHIRT-JACKET
Made out of my grandmother's old bedsheet, this jacket is made by following the lines and checks along the bedsheet as quilt lines. The cotton and upcyled foam creates a warm, comforting feeling. This is done to emulate the feeling of the bedsheet's comforting familiarity. Panels of the bedsheet are tie-dyed and added.
